We are committed to supporting communities where we operate. Through the MDU Resources Foundation, we help our neighbors make communities better places to live and work.
In 2020, the MDU Resources Foundation granted $2.55 million to 808 organizations. The total includes $503,500 in donations to support pandemic relief efforts. The funds support a wide variety of organizations, including food banks, schools, support for people experiencing homelessness and more.
Since its inception in 1983, the MDU Resources Foundation has donated $38 million to charities and organizations across the country. The MDU Resources Foundation is funded by MDU Construction Services Group and its sister companies.
Grants are awarded to qualifying organizations in the following categories: health and human services, education, civic and community activities, culture and arts, and environment.
