Lineworkers build and maintain power lines. They bring electricity to cities, businesses and homes. They often work in remote areas with difficult access, navigating rough terrain and harsh conditions. Lineworkers work in the aftermath of hurricanes, tornadoes and tropical storms to restore power as quickly as possible. They are highly skilled professionals doing challenging work that requires focus and endurance.

On this National Lineworker Appreciation Day, MDU Construction Services Group wants to thank its lineworkers as well as the more than 110,000 lineworkers across the country for their dedication to their craft.

ET&D Partnership logoMDU Construction Services Group is proud to be a founding member of the Electrical Transmission & Distribution Partnership, a formal collaboration of industry stakeholders working together to improve safety for workers in the electric line construction industry. Its focus is preventing injuries and illnesses through education and development of best practices.

The ET&D Partnership leads the way as the only national OSHA partnership that collaborates to prevent injuries through education and implementation of industry best practices. For more information, visit powerlinesafety.org.
