Phillips 66 Coker Drum

USI Industrial’s scope of work involved construction and installation of the main components of a coker unit during a 33-day outage. Two 230-ton coke drums were set onto temporary stands, a new super structure was built around the drums and piping was installed. A new penthouse with a derrick structure also was constructed. A single lift of the penthouse and derrick structure weighing 500 tons was completed using one of the largest cranes in the world.

The project was finished with zero recordable injuries, ahead of schedule, under budget and with zero leaks at startup.
